I produce diverse contemporary textile and mixed media pieces, based on my interpretation of the world around me, which I often layer with a twist of fantasy.

My inspiration comes from everything around me, but I have a particular love of fantasy - ranging from old fairy tales with dragons and castles to other magical realms, science fiction influences and alien worlds. 

There is often a story in my head relating to the pieces I make and I try to breathe life into my imaginings by using colour and the textures of different media to create the look and the atmosphere of the piece.

I aim to share my quirky version of the world with viewers of my work and to invoke in them a sense of strangeness and wonder.
